Artificial Intelligence
We can separate this team into two words “Artificial” and “Intelligence”. The word “artificial” is something human beings create. “Intelligence” means the ability to learn or to deal with new situations. The whole term can be defined as a machine having the ability to solve complex problems with our natural intelligence.
Machine Learning
Machine Learning is a branch of Artificial Intelligence. It uses algorithms to train the data and learn to predict future events. Machine learning is far more used in many technologies and is the most growing field as we know.
We all may not really know but we are using AI and ML in our daily routine. Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant are examples of artificial intelligence and machine learning. We all listen to music on Spotify and see movies on Netflix, there are complex algorithms that help us give related recommendations for what to hear and which movie to watch.
Application of Artificial Intelligence we use today.
We are all surrounded by so-called machine learning software which helps us make every task easy and time-saving. The Software adapts what we really like and dislike and the system gets smarter and innovative and based on past experience it helps us make decisions in the future. We will discuss some of the most popular examples of artificial intelligence and machine learning that are being used today.
1.Amazon Alexa
When Amazon launched Alexa, it took the whole world by storm. Its use and ability to deliver voice service from anywhere in the room has made it a revolutionary product that helps our web search, set alarms, schedule appointments, and do millions of other things. It has the ability to power our homes and give a variety of different services.
2.Netflix
We use Netflix for binge-watching new movies and web series, Netflix analyzes billions of records to give suggestions for new users based on your previous choice of films. Netflix uses past datasets and uses user/Item-based recommendation system algorithms to give similar choice recommendations for users. As we can see the best-rated movies make a big-name and grow like a balloon and the movies which have low ratings go unnoticed.
3.Flipkart/Amazon
Amazon and Flipkart are online E-commerce platforms that have millions of products to sell online. With the help of Machine learning algorithms and AI it recommends bought together products for new and existing customers.
What really happens behind the scenes is they collect the data from different uses and based on the previous purchase history they suggest similar products for new users.
4.Facebook/Instagram
Facebook and Instagram are social media platforms which use machine learning of their own and user benefits. Facebook has the user behavior from the past and gives recommendations for connecting a particular friend and improving their ads champions. All these activities are carried out by machine learning algorithms. There are many more features which are increasing day by day.
5.Personalized Learning
We all know that Netflix gives recommendations about movies and web series, but nowadays personalized learning helps give recommendations for students learning/ studying in different domains.
They first try to know the student behavior, what they like to learn, and their interest in a particular subject, then using ML and AI this platform helps give suggestions on what they can learn in the future and which field is having more career advantages.
6. Siri
Apple’s personal assistant is called Siri. Siri is a voice-activated and user-friendly computer that interacts with us on a daily basis. We can take the help of Siri for finding information, giving directions, setting alarms, and organizing our calendars. Siri is a digital personal assistant who is built on technologies of AI and ML which gets smarter and smarter day by day. With the help of AI, it is able to predict the natural language questions and give related answers.
There are tech companies that are led by humans who have a pursuit of profit and have goals to fulfill using this vast knowledge of AI and ML. As we all know there is nothing wrong with that. We all can see a better and reliable future coming on our ways, and these technologies will be built very much reliably and smartly.
